We had a visit from Mr Tattersfield today! He taught us about what scientists do and what scientists need.

We helped to think up of what a scientist needs.  Mr Tattersfield showed us how to make 'Vampire Slime.'  It was heaps of fun.

We were all very excited to touch and feel the 'Vampire Slime.'

Mr Tattersfield gave us all a piece of slime to feel.  We all had some cool words to describe how it felt!

"It's getting very gooey now" said Kauri

In goes the red food colouring.

Mix it all in.

We all had to make sure our phones were working in space so we could describe our slime to the scientists on earth!  Dezijah said his battery was flat!

We put in half a cup of baking powder.

Then we added some water.

It was very watery!

We all took turns to stir it very carefully on the heat.
